Fundamenta Canonica is an academic online journal, that welcomes contributions in the field of
- Legal and Canonical Studies
- Legal Theology and Philosophy
- Historic and Systematic contributions in Canon Law as well as
- Intercultural and Ecumenical aspects surrounding ecclesiastical law
Published open access, it welcomes international research at any time during the year and serves as a publication medium for the CTCL-Symposia. Even though its primary language is English, contributions in other languages (French, Spanish, German, Italian) are also welcome.
The online journal also accepts reviews.

Contributions during the year will undergo a peer review process (double-blind), should be between 5.000-10.000 words and comply with The Chicago Manual of Style.
As an open acces publication, each format (PDF, HTML) will be provided with an ISSN and DOI (Digital Object Identifier) to ensure visibility and maximum scholarly dissemination. The same goal should be achieved via keywords and registering the publication in major catalogues and databases (Google Scholar etc.).
